Crappie Fishing Tip Using Smelly Jelly
Here is a tip that I got from reading a article about how good the Smelly
Jelly works on Bass lures and thought to myself this would be great for Crappie Too.
What you need:
A. Crappie Jig Heads as far as the weight what ever
you
are use to using
B. An assortment of Crappie bodies soft plastic
D. This one might be some problem; you need a
small
syringe of at least a 5 to
10mm size (without
needle).
Might want to ask the nurse next time she gives
you
a shot if
you could just have the plastic
part of the
syringe and explain it is for fishing. Most of the time
she will do it.
You may also find a
syringe at a pet supply store inthe
medical section.

O.K., Now you have everything you need, lets put together this tip and see if it
does not pay off big time for you in loading up the boat.
Insert the Crappie Jig Head inside the soft plastic body and tie it on the main
line of either the Jig pole and open face spinning rod, which ever one you are going
to use.
What you want to do with the Smelly Jelly is make sure that it is not thick from
the freezer...in other words let it thaw out where you can get it in the syringe.
I like to use the Smelly Jelly Shad
Flavor for this.
Take the syringe and slowly push some Smelly Jelly up into the body of the Crappie Jig, and if you are fishing with
more than one jig on the line fill them up.
Make sure when done with the syringe that has the Smelly Jelly in it place it out of the
sun.
See if this does not improve the amount of Crappie that you load up in the boat,
and I have not had the first invite to that fish cookout.
Saving all those great tasting fish for yourself...well enjoy and think about me.
